Level One Making Connections Supplement

Level One: Making Connections

Supplemental Worksheet

In response to requests for additional room to gather data, our team developed this supplemental document to explore a specific pathophysiology or diagnosis based upon data gathered during Level One of the Heid ATE Guide for Clinical Teaching and Learning©️ in preparation for Making Connections and the Peer-to-Peer Huddle.

Additional prompts allow the learner to extend their review of pharmacology, diagnostics and labs, individual considerations (social, cultural, spiritual) and other aspects of the patient's story  such as past medical or surgical history.

We have included a few additional questions to discuss with a peer during this crucial conversation where learners begin making connections to recognize and analyze cues in context.
